The VIS 100 M1 pistol, chambered in 9x19 mm, is characterized by its lightweight design, optimal dimensions, good maneuverability, quick deployment, and high level of safety. It is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. With interchangeable grip inserts, it provides an ergonomic grip that can be adjusted to fit the user's hand size.

The firearm's frame is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy. The NATO Rail, compatible with STANAG 4694, allows for the attachment of a laser sight or tactical light, enhancing its functionality. It features an automatic safety mechanism to prevent accidental and premature firing. Additionally, a decocker is incorporated, allowing for safe decocking. The shape of the pistol's trigger guard enables comfortable handling with protective gloves in both summer and winter.

The single-action/double-action (SA/DA) trigger mechanism allows for fast and accurate shooting. The pistol is equipped with fiber-optic front and rear sights for precise aiming. It is fed from 17-round box magazines.

By using a shorter magazine baseplate and recoil spring guide, the magazine capacity can be reduced to 15 rounds, thereby decreasing the overall height of the firearm. The VIS 100 M1 pistols are available in a variety of colors, including black (oxidized), as well as a wide range of Cerakote™ ceramic paint finishes. The applied coating enhances durability and resilience, ensuring long-term use of the firearm. The painted surface (frame and slide) is resistant to:

  • Impact Resistance (ASTM D2794) - prevents cracking and chipping upon impact with the painted surface.
  • Salt Spray (ASTM B-117) - exhibits over 3500 hours of resistance against corrosion.
  • Pencil Hardness (ASTM D3363) - achieves a high level of hardness, rating 9 (the highest degree).
  • Flexibility or Mandrel Bend (ASTM D522) - demonstrates high resistance to cracking under bending stress.
  • Chemical resistance - including cleaning agents for firearms, brake cleaners, acetone, alcohols, gasoline, paint thinners, etc.
