A limited edition of UrVIS knives from the Fabryka Broni label has just been released for sale on the civilian market. Although it has nothing to do with a real troublemaker, it can stir up enthusiasts of edged weapons, survival, collectors, as well as shooters, especially fans of the legendary VIS wz. 35.
UrVIS is unique in many ways. It was created in collaboration with a company specializing in hand-forged knives made from the highest quality steel. It made its debut at last year's International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce and generated immense interest.
Many questions were raised about it at the Fabryka Broni. So, we responded to the expectations of our customers. We created a limited series of knives inspired by the legendary pistol. UrVIS was specially designed to utilize the grip covers of the VIS wz. 35 pistol. The knives are an excellent combination of elegance, history, and modern design. Each one has been carefully crafted to reflect the character of our legend, which truly has many fans – says Dr. Wojciech Arndt, President of Fabryka Broni "Łucznik" – Radom sp. z o.o.
To emphasize its exclusivity, the knife is packaged in a decorative box, and in addition to UrVIS, it includes a Kydex sheath allowing for carrying the knife on the belt. An individual certificate of authenticity is also included. Each knife has a unique serial number.
Curiosity among those interested in the knife is aroused not only by its appearance but also by its name. It refers to two legendary products, namely the anti-tank rifle Kb UR wz. 35, a secret weapon designed to destroy tanks, and the VIS wz.35 pistol, a weapon of Polish Army officers and cavalry before World War II – explains Seweryn Figurski, Member of the Management Board of Fabryka Broni "Łucznik" - Radom sp. z o.o.
