MSBS GROT Pistol will be available for American customers through Arms of America – our U.S. distributor. Obtaining ATF certification which Fabryka Broni has acquired in a consistently implemented process, marks another step in strengthening the brand’s presence on the American market.
“Securing ATF certification is an important milestone in establishing the position of Fabryka Broni and its products in the United States. It is also the result of the Management Board’s long-term and consistently executed strategy to introduce the MSBS GROT system to the American market. This achievement was made possible due to the cooperation of our American distributor with a team of Fabryka Broni specialists who carried out intensive work throughout the various stages of the certification process,” emphasizes Seweryn Figurski, Board Chairman of Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” – Radom sp. z o.o.
The introduction of the MSBS GROT Pistol to the U.S. market will allow American customers to obtain this model for the first time — complete with three barrel lengths (10.5”, 13”, 14.5”) tailored to their user preferences. The U.S. market is characterized by strong demand for modern, modular platforms and rifle-pistol-type firearms, valued by sport shooters, enthusiasts and collectors alike. Thanks to its unique design and three barrel configurations, MSBS GROT Pistol offers an attractive alternative to the AR-15-based designs that have dominated the American market.
Following ATF certification, Fabryka Broni has begun preparations for production of the item for the needs of the American market. Availability of the model will be communicated gradually as production and logistics activities progress. The final scope of the product configuration offered on the American market remains at the discretion of the distributor.
For years, Fabryka Broni has observed significant interest in the MSBS GROT family from U.S. customers. At every SHOT Show event where Fabryka Broni is present, the most common question has been when the product will finally become available to American shooters. The ATF’s decision now answers this expectation and opens the way for the brand’s further growth beyond Europe
“We see strong interest in GROT in the U.S. during every SHOT Show. Many customers have emphasized that the U.S. market lacks a European platform offering this level of modularity and ergonomics. The ability to prepare production specifically for the American market is an important step in our expansion and a natural stage in development of the MSBS system,” notes Daniel Wilk, Board Member of Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” – Radom sp. z o.o.
The opportunity to introduce the MSBS GROT Pistol overseas means that it may soon join other designs of Fabryka Broni already available in the United States. In 2021, the Company’s American distributors introduced the following products: Mini Beryl Pistol in .223 Rem, Beryl S 762 M1 in 7.62×39 mm and Beryl S 223 M1 rifle, chambered in one of the most popular intermediate calibers in America - 5.56×45 mm/.223 Remington. VIS 100 M1 semi-automatic pistol, chambered in 9×19 mm, has also joined the Beryl family in this market.
“ATF certification is more than an administrative decision. It is also a confirmation—based on detailed analysis—of the quality and maturity of our design. It signals that the development path chosen by Fabryka Broni is the right one. At the same time, we are pleased to see genuine interest from American business partners and the shooting community even before the GROT enters the American market,” adds Jakub Czułba, Board Member of Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” – Radom sp. z o.o.
Fabryka Broni had to undergo a long and demanding process to be able to offer another product on the U.S. market. Above all, the firearm’s design had to be adjusted to American requirements.
“This entire process—from production adjustments to meeting federal regulations—illustrates the lengthy and demanding path we have taken. It involved not only formal procedures but also a shift in approach, the implementation of new quality standards, full adaptation of documentation and the completion of a wide range of control procedures which opened the door to the U.S. market,” adds Seweryn Figurski , Board Chairman of Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” – Radom sp. z o.o.
