One hundred thousand GROT rifles in the service in Poland

The fifty-thousandth unit of the MSBS GROT rifle has rolled off the production line at the "Łucznik" Radom Arms Factory. Soon, it will be incorporated into the equipment of the Polish Armed Forces, which have received nearly 100 thousand units of this weapon. A special moment for the Radom facility was captured in a commemorative photograph of those who contributed to the success of the company's flagship product - employees and management.

Since 2017, the MSBS GROT rifles have been part of the equipment of the Polish army. As part of the support provided by the Polish government, GROT rifles have also been supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where they have proven effective in combat. In 2022, the Łucznik Arms Factory also delivered MSBS GROT rifles to the Department of Defense of the United States and to one of the countries in East Africa.

"For nearly 100 years, as the leading Polish company in the defense industry, we have been supplying firearms to our military, of which we are incredibly proud. However, we also feel the weight of responsibility," says Dr. Wojciech Arndt, the CEO of the Łucznik-Radom Arms Factory. "We constantly engage in a dialogue with our main customer, listening to their needs and responding to them. An example of this is the MSBS GROT rifle family. Currently, we are preparing for the delivery of the 762N sniper rifle, working on the A3 version of the GROT rifle, a sub-rifle with a 10-inch barrel, and a stockless version."

The MSBS GROT rifle was developed as part of the military project ZISW TYTAN. This exceptional design allows for the rapid interchange of key modules, such as barrels with an integrated gas chamber, trigger chambers with a firing mechanism, and stocks. As a result, the weapon can be quickly adapted to specific users and their needs. All these features can be achieved in both the conventional and stockless configurations for both right and left-handed users.

The Łucznik Arms Factory has fully met the user's requirement for the modernization of individual soldier equipment, adapting the offered units to the latest standards and implementing them into serial production.

"The impressive number of 100 thousand MSBS GROT rifles produced for the Polish Armed Forces leaves an impression not only on a national scale but also internationally," says Seweryn Figurski, a member of the Board of Directors of the Łucznik-Radom Arms Factory. "For several years, we have been showcasing them at international arms fairs, where they generate significant interest and stand alongside the best global products."

The first units of the MSBS GROT rifles were introduced into the equipment of the Polish Armed Forces in November 2017. They still have at their disposal 96 thousand BERYL assault rifles produced at the Radom facility.
