MPS PISTOL
The Modular Self‑Loading Pistol (MPS) in 9×19 mm is a personal‑defence handgun intended for short‑range shooting (up to approx. 50 m). It operates on the short‑recoil principle with the barrel locked by vertical tilting. The MPS is striker‑fired and features a striker‑type trigger system with partial pre‑cocking (semi‑DAO), providing safe carry with a round chambered.
The pistol is fitted with automatic trigger and firing‑pin safeties that disengage immediately prior to discharge when the trigger is pressed. It can be used by both right‑ and left‑handed shooters thanks to ambidextrous slide stop levers. The magazine catch can be mounted on the right or left side of the grip according to user preference. The shape of the trigger guard permits comfortable handling while wearing protective gloves, enabling use in both summer and winter conditions.
High accuracy is provided by fixed metal sights with high‑contrast sighting dots (they can be replaced with sighting solutions compatible with the SIG SAUER P320 standard). The MPS is in the OPTIC‑READY class, allowing a micro‑red‑dot sight to be fitted to the rear portion of the slide in parallel with the mechanical sights, increasing precision and speed of aiming.
A low‑profile, low‑mass slide contributes to reduced recoil and rapid return of the pistol to the “zero” point. Deep serrations at the rear and front of the slide ensure fast and positive slide manipulation. The weapon is fed from 15‑round magazines (optionally 17‑round), and the integrated safety systems permit safe carrying with a round in the chamber, which speeds up the first shot.
Modularity of the pistol ensures an ergonomic grip that can be tailored to the user’s hand by means of interchangeable backstraps in three sizes. A Picatinny rail (MIL‑STD‑1913‑compatible) is integrated into the front of the grip for mounting a wide range of electro‑optical accessories that enhance the pistol’s functionality. The grip is not a controlled/licensed component and may be replaced by the user with different colour variants or alternative construction options.
